Yorkshire Day 2016

August 1, 2016

Join us in the Garden Rooms at Tennants, Harmby Road, Leyburn to celebrate Yorkshire Day and the Queen's 90th birthday.  A not to be missed opportunity to spend the day at this spendid venue with state-of-the-art facilities which encompasses galleries of unique antiques from around the world, along with art and history.  For added comfort and interest there is a coffee lounge, bar as well as a small gift shop.

Upon arrival you are free to mingle, view the galleries, visit the gift shop, coffee lounge or bar.  Lunch will be seated buffet style, after which we invite you to make your way to the Garden Room where Mr Rodney Tennant will give an entertaining afternoon talk on the 'History of Tennants'.

At approximately 3.30 pm we will toast Her Majesty The Queen with a glass of non-alcoholic sparkling wine and a piece of fruit cake.

We anticipate a finishing time of  around 4 pm but Tennants will be open until 5 pm for you to continue browsing or visit the bar/coffee lounge for further refreshments.

The above lunch, talk by Rodney Tennant and toast to the Queen is all included in the price of £15 per person.  Any extra food or drinks are not included.

As this will be a popular event, tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and no ticket will be guaranteed unless payment has been received.  An application form has been sent to your Branch Secretary.  The event is open to family and friends.
